Community Corner
Holding Life Loosely
Join the Prairie Circle Unitarian Universalist
Congregation and Rev. Darrick Jackson for this worship service focused on how
Taoism teaches us to be open to what life brings us. In our fast paced society,
is there room to bring some of the Taoist principles into our lives?
Childcare is available for ages up
to 3 and children’s religious education for preschool through high school runs
concurrent to the adult service.
Rev. Darrick Jackson is the Dean of
Students at Meadville Lombard Theological School. Before moving to Chicago he
served churches in Storrs, CT and Monson, MA. Darrick is currently the co-chair
of the UUA Nominating Committee, and the Chair of the Transition Board at the
UU Military Ministry at Great Lakes. He is also the treasurer and Workshop Leader
for Healing Moments (a ministry for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s).
