LAKE/McHENRY ORGANIZING FOR ACTION CHAPTER MEETING

LMOFA invites you to attend a very important chapter meeting on Wednesday, September 18th, at State Bank of the Lakes, 50 Commerce Drive in Grayslake. The keynote speaker is Sara El-Almine, the National Organizing Director at Organizing For Action, the 20 million person strong grassroots movement.

Find out all you want to know about the LMOFA issue teams, including  Immigration, Healthcare, Women's Issues, Climate Change, and Gun Violence Prevention. Hear how you can get involved in implementing the Affordable Care Act open enrollment, passing comprehensive immigration reform, convincing Congress to act on universal background checks for weapons purchasers,  keeping our government open and paying its bills, challenging climate deniers and protecting the rights of women.  Questions and answers will follow.
