Lake/McHenry Organizing For Action (OFA) Gun Violence Prevention Walking Candlelight Vigil

Lake/McHenry Organizing for Action will be holding an event for Gun Violence Prevention. The goal of the event is to raise public awareness about gun violence in our society, to remember victims of gun violence, and to urge our Congress to take action on Universal Background Check legislation. Our featured speaker will be Lee Goodman from the Stop Concealed Carry Coalition. 

The public is invited to join us on Thursday, October 17 at 4:00 p.m. in downtown Waukegan. The event will begin at 118 N. Genesee St. and proceed to jack Benny Park with a walking candlelight vigil. For more information please visit our website at http://www.lakemchenryofa.com. We will not forget.
