Sandy Hook Remembrance Event

Sandy Hook Remembrance Event – Support Gun Violence Prevention

One year ago on December 14, 20 children and six adults were violently gunned down at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown CT, in a massive spray of firepower from a Bushmaster XM15-E2S weapon with a 30 round magazine cartridge that fires 45 bullets per minute.

The Lake McHenry Chapter of Organizing for Action invites the public to attend a remembrance event for this senseless gun tragedy at Sandy Hook. The goals of the event are to remember the victims of Sandy Hook and local gun violence victims and to raise public awareness for Congressional action to pass common sense gun legislation and Universal Background Checks.
