Local Heat Faces Fire at the 2nd Annual Home Run for Education

The Grayslake Police Department will try to set the softball field on fire, but will the Fire Department smother their dreams by doing what they do best? Will Mayor Rhett Taylor be able to maintain order on the field as game official? Some of the more competitive members of the Grayslake Fire and Police departments will go head-to-head in an exhibition game during Foundation 46's Home Run for Education on September 14 at 3pm.

Always eager to support academic enrichment in our community, Goddard School of Third Lake is excited to sponsor this game. Goddard of Third Lake owner, David Raye, will throw the first pitch! The Goddard School of Third Lake has also helped fund District 46 Destination ImagiNation team trips to the Global DI Tournament.

Several other local businesses have stepped up to the plate to support an enriching educational experience for all children by sponsoring this event. Rock Chevrolet, Chic Martin Signature Homes, Memory Makers Entertainment, Platford Commercial Realty, and Chevelle have all pitched in to make this event a success. The Foundation 46 Board of Directors is thrilled to connect these businesses, as well as FedEx Ground, with an opportunity to support the children of our community!
