An Enchanted Evening at the Palace

Take a journey few have experienced. Be transported

to another place in time. Join the Red Rose Children's

Choir of Lake County on Saturday, November 6, 2010

for An Enchanted Evening, an event that will take place

at the Sanfilippo Place de La Musique Estate in

Barrington Hills, This event will support the Red Rose

Children 's Choir of Lake County musical education

program, will include tours of the residence to view and

experience its world renowned collection of automatic

music and machines and other turn of the century

marvels.

Hidden amidst 57 wooded acres, the 44,000-square-foot

private estate is the home of Jasper Sanfilippo, former

chief executive of the Fisher Nut Company, and his wife.

He is known world-wide for his one-of-a-kind collection

of restored music machines, chandeliers, art glass, the world's largest theatre pipe organ,

street and clock towers, steam engines and other functional mechanical and engineering

wonders.

The event will include a leisurely tour of the home and collection, followed by a

concert presented by the Bella Rosa Choir of Red Rose and featuring Jelani

Eddington on the Mighty Sanfilippo Wurlitzer. RRCCLC will present an array of

raffle items.

We will conclude the evening at Francesca's in Barrington for Appetizers, Deserts

and a cash bar.

Time: Tour 5:00- 6:30 p.m.

Program and Concert 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
