Lots of Love for Locks of Love

Have you ever thought about donating a part of yourself for the benefit of a stranger who is in need of that part?

Kids who have lost their hair due to illness, trauma or disease are thrilled when they can put on a whole head of hair again because someone made a decision to give up some of their hair for them. From your donated hair wigs are made and provided free of charge through Locks of Love.

Buckets of braids and ponytailed hair are regularly filled at Octagon Salon & Spa, 1333 N. Delany Road, Gurnee and shipped to Locks of Love all year long.

If you can donate at least 10 inches of hair on any Monday through Thursday in February, your Locks of Love haircut is FREE!!!
(Free haircuts are with participating stylists only, so please be sure to request one of them when making an appointment)

If your ponytail length is shorter than 10 inches, it does not qualify for the free haircut BUT you can still donate your hair any day of the week, any day of the year! We will bundle your ponytail that is at least 6 inches long and happily add it to our treasure chest of hair.
