Grayslake Fire Department Hosting Blood Drive Nov. 16
The blood drive will be a competition between fire departments.
The Grayslake Fire Department will be participating in the LifeSource Blood Center
Firefighter Blood Donor Challenge. Participating departments compete against
each other in an attempt to draw the greatest number of units of blood.
LifeSource personnel will be at Grayslake Fire Station No. 1 on Saturday,
Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Station No. 1 is located at 160
Hawley St. in Grayslake.
If you are donating blood, please remember to eat well and hydrate giving blood. A picture ID will be required.
Walk-ins are welcome but donors are encouraged to make an appointment by
calling Sue Staranowicz (847) 721-6479.
