A team of Patch employees volunteered their time Wednesday at The Chapel's Community CARE Center in Grayslake.
The group kept children entertained and then helped clients take their carts of food to their cars.
The volunteer effort was part of Patch's "Give 5" initiative, which encourages employees to give back to their communities.
