Grayslake Central Blood Drive Hosts 196 Donors

The blood drive was held Nov. 13.

Nearly 200 people donated blood during the Grayslake Central High School Student Council's Fall Blood Drive Nov. 13.

According to a press release from the school, "Kevin Farrell and Dina Bosco, Student Council sponsors, credited students and staff members for success in surpassing (the group's) goal."

The blood drive, operated by LifeSource, collected enough blood from 196 donors to impact 600 people, according to the press release. 

The Student Council will hold its Spring Blood Drive on Feb. 27, 2014, with the goal of having more than 200 donors.
