Historical Society to Present Program About Local Haunted Places

The free program will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 30.

Grayslake Historical Society President Charlotte Renehan wears many hats. She is a genealogist, historian, archivist and author.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Grayslake Heritage Center, she will don her witch’s hat and ride her broom to travel around the area. During her journey she will tell stories about places which are said to be haunted.

At the conclusion of her travels, audience members will be encouraged to add their tales.
