Major Learning, Minor Travel: University Center Open House Features 20 Illinois Colleges

Don't miss the University Center Open House on Thursday, March 21 from 6 - 8 pm at the University Center's Grayslake facility for the chance to learn about the 100+ programs offered by 20 IL colleges.

Now is the time for people who have been considering a return to college to start planning for fall enrollment.   If you’ve been thinking about finishing a bachelor’s degree, earning a master’s degree, or seeking a professional development certificate, don't miss the University Center Open House on Thursday, March 21 from 6 - 8 pm at the University Center's Grayslake facility (1200 University Center Drive).  In one visit, you can learn about more than 100 degree and certificate programs, meet university program representatives, and maybe even win some cash.

The University Center offers programs from 20 Illinois colleges and universities designed to enable adult students to further their education without a lengthy or costly commute.  Classes meet in the evening and on weekends at University Center facilities in Grayslake and Waukegan, and at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in North Chicago.  Other classes meet via online study, eliminating any commute and providing maximum scheduling flexibility.  Representatives from the full range of offerings will attend the Open House to provide information and answer questions.  University Center’s newest member, Elmhurst College will be on hand to discuss the M.S. in Supply Chain Management program that they are bringing to Lake County.
