Grayslake Colts to Begin Registration for 2013 Season

The Grayslake Colts are accepting registration for the 2013 season on February 3rd from 9AM to 1PM at Grayslake Middle School.

The Grayslake Colts is a non-profit, youth travel tackle football, pom and cheer program providing instruction for athletes in grades K – 8.  They are a proud affiliate of the Grayslake Park District and a partner with the Grayslake North and Grayslake Central football, cheer and pom programs.  The Colts have been an integral part of the Grayslake community for over 40 years, and voted the “best run organization” every year since 2008 by the TCYFL (The Chicagoland Youth Football League), the largest independent youth football league in the country.  The Colts, as well as 33 other member communities throughout Northern Illinois, participate in the TCYFL’s football, cheerleading and pom programs from July through November every year.   The Colts “home field” is Aquatic Field in Grayslake, and they travel locally throughout the North suburbs for Football games and Cheer/Pom competitions during the season.

The Colts 2013 season runs from July through late November, depending on playoff standings. They will be accepting athlete registration on Sunday February 3rd and Sunday March 3rd from 9am to 1pm at Grayslake Middle School.  Colts will accept registration in-person or by mail, however fees increase after March 31st.  To participate on a football, cheer or pom team, children must be entering grades K – 8 in the fall 2013 school year.  Full registration information including fees are posted on their website at www.grayslakecolts.org.  You can also e-mail the Colts at info@grayslakecolts.org.
