Native Plant, Compost Bin, Rain Barrel Sales Held in Lake County

The following information comes from a village of Grayslake press release. 

The Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, Stormwater Management Commission and the Lake County Forest Preserve District will host a rain barrel and compost bin sale on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. rain or shine.

A native plant sale will also take place on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plants that thrive in local garden conditions and provide habitat for native wildlife will be available for purchase (native flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees).

The location for these sales will be at Independence Grove Forest Preserve, 16400 W. Buckley Road (Route 137 east of Route 21), Libertyville, Illinois.
