  • Why Go?: The show features the 1938 Orson Welles Mercury Radio Theatre production of Bram Stoker's classic Dracula!
  • Pricing: Adults $15, seniors, students and military $10, take $2 off if in costume

  • Where/When: Saturday, October 29, 01:00 p.m., , 695 N. Western Ave., Lake Forest.
  • Why Go?: In a repeat of the popular event in the Square last year, Saturday afternoon’s fun will include the sights, sounds and tastes of Halloween. Visitors can stop by the “haunted pumpkin patch” in the center of the Square where All Things Party will have festive seasonal displays, caricature artists, music and variety performers and treats.

  • Where/When: Saturday, October 29, 6:30 p.m., , 127 E. Scranton Ave., Lake Bluff.
  • Why Go?: The Cottontail Club Speakeasy and Casino features casino games, drinks, light eats, music and, perhaps, a visit from Al Capone and his cohorts who, according to local lore, used the Lake Bluff beach near Crab Tree Farm to bring in shipments of booze transported on Lake Michigan.

  • Where/When: Sunday, October 30, 01:30 p.m., , 220 E. Deerpath, Lake Forest.
  • Why Go?: Enjoy an afternoon of live performances from groups such as: Cadet, Concertino, Philharmonia and Concert orchestras; Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra and the Voices Rising choral group.

  • Where/When: Sunday, October 30, 5:00 p.m., , 181 E. Laurel Ave., Lake Forest.
  • Why Go?: Buy your favorite wine by the case or bottle and the Lake Forest Symphony Guild receives a portion of the cost. Enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres. Proceeds benefit the Lake Forest Symphony.
