A Week in the Life of an Ironman Coach

Do you really know what it takes to be an endurance and weight loss coach?

I often get asked what is your training like. Or it must be a "neat" job to coach endurance athletes since you get to work out. Hmmmm, I often just smile and just say yes. But wow, it takes a lot of time, focus and FOOD!

Here are some general stats that you will enjoy from a common week:

-average calorie burn per day- 4500

-average hours of sleep per night- 6.25

Hmmmm, are you ready to do what I do? Do the math, you get about 2 full time jobs in just what I listed. I know nothing less than working hard from my up bringing from what my parents instilled in me and growing up going to school, working and playing varsity sports or going to college full time, working full time and working out.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy what I do or I would not have opened a business The Fitness Pursuit doing this. And I also play hard and vacation one to two times a year.

But I often get asked by the young person or the career changing person wanting to do what I do. Make sure you trully understand what that is. It is not just going out for a run and making someone feel good that day with a high five!

If you want more info of what I/we do at The Fitness Pursuit you can see our most recent newsletter and website that is a work in progress.
