Charles E. Green Served as Hainesville Village Trustee
Services have been scheduled for Charles E. Green.
Charles E. Green a resident of Hainesville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at the age of 89.
He was born Oct. 30, 1924 in Missouri to Chester and Mary (nee: Vertrese) Green. Charles was a Hainesville Trustee. He loved to work around the house, working on cars and being with his family.
Charles is survived by his children Charlotte (Doug) Bartlett of Ramona, CA, Doris (Ken) Wanagas of Spring Grove, Charles Green Jr. of Abilene, TX, and Gloria Green of Fox Lake; his two local grandchildren, Jessica Mitchell and Nicholas Pritchard; eight other grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his four sisters and his five brothers.
Friends of the family may visit on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 from noon until 1 p.m., with a funeral service commencing at 1 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Interment will follow at Avon Centre Cemetery in Grayslake. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
