Obituary: Lois A. Peterson

Lois A. Peterson, a resident of Libertyville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at the age of 86.

She was born Sept. 16, 1927 in Fort Wayne, IN to Gale and Hazel Addington.

Lois is survived by her children Ruth Peterson and Robert (Laura) Peterson, her granddaughter Rebecca (Ian) Hudak, her great-granddaughter Aurora, and she was a loving aunt to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Peterson, her infant daughter Patricia Ellen, and her sister Ellen Mooney.

Friends of the family may visit Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 from 4 until 5 p.m., with a funeral service commencing at 5 p.m. at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake. Interment will be held privately at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Advocate Hospice, 364 Surryse Road Suite 120, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
