A New Year, A New Me: Week Ten

Another step on my journey towards weight loss and fitness.

I made it through the 10-week program at . I am very proud of that fact because it isn't easy. We tracked our food, we exercised for hours each day, we wore BodyBugg monitors to track our daily calorie burns, we walked at 5 a.m....

They never said it would be easy. But it is worth it. I have lost my first nearly 10 pounds of 2012. While I have many more to go, I am happy to be on a healthier path.

What I loved most about the program was our coaches and the group support. We joked, we laughed, we encouraged each other to keep going, to keep improving. Coach Lauri and Coach Kelli pushed us, challenged us and held us up when we struggled. Some of the guys in the group had incredible results, losing between 30 and 40 pounds.

Overall, everyone improved on some level. Everyone has made fitness a part of their life.

On Monday, I am starting the next session at TFP. I need the intensity and the accountability to keep improving. Some people can just do this on their own - I like support of a group. I am, however, retiring this blog to just focus on the training. Thanks to all of you who offered support as I went along. I appreciate it more than you will ever know.
