Black or White

 I woke up this morning and turned on the news and again faced with being white is being a racist.  Now listen up … I have just as many “black” friends as “white” friends but I do not keep a count of how many wonderful people I call friend.  I am so tired of being clumped into the white racist bunch and further more I believe the mass majority of whites ARE NOT racist.  BUT, on the other hand I truly feel there are too many black racists against whites.  Let’s all stop hiding behind our skin color and know we are just one people.  I am tired of being labeled a whitey, white trash, honky, kite, camel jockey and all the other names used against whites but I do not protest, carry signs, saying look at poor me.  Yes blacks were slaves and treated horribly but by gosh everyone should stand up and say look at me not because I am black or white but because I am one of you, an American.  AND, I am sick and tired of come Monday morning and the news is 70 people killed over the weekend.  What is this Syria?  Innocent children gunned down and killed… why because one idiot doesn’t like another idiot so let’s go out and shoot people.  STOP IT!  No one calls this racist but it is still murder.  One white idiot kills a black youth and the whole country is up in arms.  I say what about those murdered over the weekend?  I am more concerned with the count next weekend and all the weekends to come.  STOP the killing of blacks or whites and stand together against the killing of anyone … yes anyone … black or white … STOP THE KILLING.  Lastly remember O. J. Simpson he got away with murder and too many people celebrated his freedom.  Don’t live a double standard …cherish all life!
