As many schools are in the midst of Spring Break, it made me nostalgic for those days in high school where you could have a full week off. Where you could sleep in, hang out with your friends, stay up late and then do it all again the next day.
Ah, high school was the life, wasn't it?
Maybe yes, maybe no.
I know people who do not look back on those four formative years with fondness. Sure, they enjoyed long breaks from school. But school itself? Not so much fun. Kids were mean, there were too many cliques, teachers terrorized them, spitball wars in the hallways...
Or maybe for you, those were your Glory Days. Filled with friends, sports, fun, and just enough trouble to keep it interesting. You would go back in a heartbeat.
So tell us in the Comments, if you could go back to high school, would you? Why or why not?
Discuss.
The teachers were there to help the students get to where ever they wanted to go, their support was solid, deep and sincere. They were their because they loved their profession. Most of the teachers were drawn to the school system because it was a merit based system and they all worked to excell. Would I go back? In a heartbeat.
