FIT Right into Spring

With the change of season, it's time to change up your fitness routine and goals. MissFIT Complete has some practical yet creative ways for you to "Fit into Spring".

Wow! I have trouble believing that spring is around the corner. I don’t mean to get ahead of myself, but spring decorations and Easter bunnies have been in the stores for several weeks already and there is no ignoring them anymore! With that in mind, I decided that it is high time for us to start preparing for spring too; to start thinking about how you can brighten up your workout, your eating regime and, for some of you, your attitude (said with a smile!).

You know by now, that I am a compassionate and understanding yet ‘no-excuses’ kind of girl. So, to me, we must meet each new season of the calendar and our lives with a sense of opportunity and resolve as opposed to ‘down-and –out’,   ‘woe-is-me’ excuses. Whether that was you during the winter months or not, let’s ALL start fresh into spring….and that takes a little preparation!

  • Think about your goals. Give this some time and consideration. Without a VERY SPECIFIC idea of what you want to achieve, it will be difficult to direct your activities. Be sure to be REALISTIC about your goals. Remember, your body maintains gradual change much easier than dramatic overhauls that usually serve only to create dismal emotional and physical ramifications long term.
  • Consider how your environment and schedule will change. Maybe your kids have new activity schedules. Maybe you plan to use some of your free time to spring clean. How do those things play into your available time and energy to care for YOU? Or just maybe you take a look at the how you can incorporate more physical activity into your life as the daylight lengthens. Maybe a MissFIT group class or even a Healthy Happy Hour is in the near future!
