Grayslake Police Blotter - DUI, Battery

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Amanda R. Almsted, 23, of 1433 Brighton Lane, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting arrest. She was stopped on March 12 near Route 120 and Westerfield Place. She was released on a $1,000 bond pending a court date of April 10.

Raul G. Leyva-Mongoy, 35, of 9019 East Gable Avenue, Mesa, Arizona, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more and speeding. He was stopped on March 13 at 18945 West Old Plank Road.  He was released on $3,000 bond pending a court date of April 3.

Timothy J. Sullivan, 24, of 35123 52nd Street, Burlington, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, speeding and operating a vehicle with expired registration. He was stopped on March 18 near Route 45 and Center Street. He was released on a $3,000 bond pending a court date of April 10.

ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION

Elizabeth K. Krogh, 19, of 440 South Slusser Street, Grayslake, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was stopped on March 17 at 440 South Slusser Street. She was released on $75 pending a court date of April 18.

WARRANT

Brandon C. Drummer, 19, of 1868 Maplewood Court, Grayslake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant for failure to appear on battery charges. He was stopped on March 14 at 1868 Maplewood Court. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.

BATTERY

Steven L. Norton, 46, of the 200 Block of South Slusser Street, Grayslake, was charged with domestic battery. He was taken into custody on March 19. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.
