Blotter: Woman Arrested for DUI, Possessing Drugs; Homeless Man Charged with Battery

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Possession of Marijuana
Police arrested Kaitlin J. Wall, 26, of Libertyville, at East Route 120 and North Route 45 in Grayslake at 12:37 a.m. on March 15. Wall was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI-alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding 26-31 mph over.  A $1,000 bond was set. 

DUI-Alcohol, Speeding
Jesus Reyes, 27, of 414 Lincoln Avenue, 1, in Grayslake, was arrested at North Route 45 and West Washington Street in Grayslake at 1:51 a.m. on March 22 on several charges. He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI-Alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding 15 to 20 mph over and improper lane usage. A $1,000 bond was set and he is expected in court on April 23. 

DUI
Police arrested Benjamin Contri, 37, of 383 Moore Court 1D in Grayslake, at 160 Hamelitz Court on several charges at 12:08 a.m. on April 1. He is charged with DUI-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, license suspended/revoked-second DUI, failure to signal and improper lane usage. A $3,000 bond was issued and he is expected in court on May 6. 

Battery, Resisting
Police arrested Jamal N. Bajwa, 19, who is listed as homeless, at 2 S. Route 83 at 9:49 p.m. on March 30 and charged him with battery, possession of marijuana and resisting arrest of a peace officer. A $1,000 bond was set. He is expected in court on April 21.
