Cops: Grayslake Man Stole $700,000 from Employer

A Grayslake man has been arrested for allegedly stealing more than $700,000 from his former employer, Allstate, reports the Daily Herald.

Richard Campos Jr., 36, of Grayslake, was arrested Wednesday after a Cook County Sheriff's investigation shows he stole more than $700,000 from Northbrook-based Allstate Insurance Co., reports the Daily Herald.

Campos, who had worked at Allstate 10 years before being fired over the summer, allegedly altered computer records of deceased beneficiaries, directing the annuity payments to his personal bank account, according to the Daily Herald.
