Crash On Route 120

A crash on Route 120 shut down the road for a brief time west of Grayslake Monday morning.

Route 120, west of Route 134, was closed for a brief time Monday morning Nov. 21 due to a three-car crash, according to Grayslake Police.

"Two cars were stopped in traffic, and a third car ran into the rear of the car in front of it  which caused that car to run into the car in front of it," said Sgt. Brian Ernst. "The crash caused both lanes of traffic to be blocked for about 15 minutes this morning."

He said the driver of the second car was transported by Round Lake Rescue for minor injuries.
