Grayslake Fire Department to Host Blood Drive
The blood drive will be a competition between fire departments.
The Grayslake Fire Department will be participating in the Life Source Blood Center Firefighter Blood Donor Challenge. Participating departments compete against each other in an attempt to draw the greatest number of units of blood.
Life Source personnel will be at Grayslake Fire Station No. 1 on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Station #1 is located at 160 Hawley St. in Grayslake.
If you are donating blood, please remember to eat well and hydrate before they give blood and a picture ID will be required.
Walk-ins are welcome but donors are encouraged to make an appointment by calling Ingrid Skidmore at 847-223-8960.
