Grayslake Police Blotter: DUI, Drugs

Recent arrests for drugs, DUI and a sex offender living near a school zone. Reports were taken from the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the . Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Donald M. May, 27, of 242 Walker Place, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI over .08 and speeding. He was stopped on Dec. 21 near Route 45 and Brae Loch Road. He was released on a $1,000 recognizance bond pending a court date of Jan. 11.

DRUGS

Danielle T. Baker, 18, of 1706 Cherrywood Lane, Lindenhurst, was charged with driving under the influence of any combination of drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane usage. She was stopped on Dec. 29 near Routes 83 and 120. She was released on bond pending a court date of Jan. 24.

Steven J. Droessler, 24, of 680 Brittany Square #3, Grayslake, was charged with possession of cannabis – 30 grams and under, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license, improper display of registration and a muffler violation. He was stopped on Dec. 22 near Washington St/Haryan Way. He was released on a $2,000 recognizance bond pending a court date of Jan. 12.

SEX OFFENDER

Rondan Keith, 40, of 532 Chard Court, Grayslake, was taken into custody on a warrant for unlawfully residing in the proximity of a school as a predatory child sex offender. He was stopped on Dec. 28 at 532 Chard Court. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.
