Recent arrests for drugs, DUI and a sex offender found in a school zone. Reports were taken from the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DRUGS

Derrick P. Brown, 19, of 148 Prairieview Avenue, Grayslake, was charged with possession of drug equipment. He was stopped on Aug. 11 at 50 George Street. He was released on $120 Ibond pending a court date of Sept. 21.

DUI

Gerard J. Walsh, 54, of 6 Janet Lane Rockaway Point, New York, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence while license is suspended, DUI alcohol over .08, driving on a suspended license and having no insurance. He was stopped on Aug. 6 near Routes 45 and 120. The bond amount was unavailable. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.

Ruslik Sadyraka, 40, of 189 Wood Stone, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage. He was stopped on Aug. 2 near Atkinson Road and Braymore Drive. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a court date of Aug. 30.

Nair B. Sanjay, 40, of 9046 Barberry Lane, Des Plaines, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol over .08 and improper lane usage. He was stopped on July 31 near Route120 and Misty Hill Lane. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.

SEX OFFENDER

Anthony J. Shiner, 45, of 10 N. Lake Street, Grayslake, was charged with failure to register as sex offender and presence in school zone by child sex offender. He was stopped on Aug. 5 at 10 N. Lake Street. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.
