Grayslake Police Blotter - Theft and Battery

Recent arrests for theft and battery taken from the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BATTERY

Alexander J. Malinowski, 21, of 2423 S. River Road, Janesville, Wis., was charged with domestic battery, driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI alcohol over .08. He was stopped on Aug. 16 at 1110 Chesterfield Lane. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with simple battery. The juvenile was stopped on Aug. 19 at 400 N. Lake Street, and released on a notice to appear pending a court date of Sept. 21.

THEFT

A 13-year-old juvenile was charged with theft under $500 and criminal damage to property. The juvenile was stopped on Aug. 19 at 105 Library Lane. The juvenile was released on $120 bond pending a court date of Sept.  20.

Christina J. Lewis, of 370 N. Slusser Street, Grayslake, was taken into custody on a Lake County Warrant for retail theft. She was stopped on Aug. 21 at 370 N. Slusser Street. Bond was set at $20,000, 10 percent applies. She was transported to Lake County Jail.
