Grayslake Police Blotter

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ALCOHOL/DRUGS

Forrest J. Jackson, 20, of 312 McKinley Avenue, Waukegan, was charged with illegal possession of alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was stopped on Feb. 6 near Route 120 and Country Drive. He was released pending a court date of March 23.

Charles W. Coslet, 25, of 21905 W. Hawley Street, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol over .08, disobeying a stop sign, failure to signal and improper lane usage. He was stopped on Feb. 7 near Rt. 137 and Ivanhoe Road. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court date of March 1.

Johnny Ray Trobaugh, 39, of 1760 New Street Union Grove, Wis., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated DUI alcohol, driving on a suspended license, illegal transportation of alcohol, having no insurance, resisting arrest and criminal damage to state supported property. He was stopped on Feb. 9 near Route 45 and 120. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.

Lydia A. Garrity, 47, of 935 Tylerton Circle, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on private property and having no valid FOID card. She was stopped on Feb. 11 at 595 Frederick Road. She was released on $300 cash bond pending a court date of March 8.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Brandon M. Bates, 20, of 2220 Woodlawn Park Avenue, McHenry, was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lane usage. He was stopped on Feb. 7 near Route 83 and Washington Street. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a court date of March 16.

Antonio O. Mora, 39, of 5813 Wonder Woods, Wonder Lake, was charged with having no valid drivers license. He was stopped on Feb. 11 near Rollins Road and Drury Lane. He was released pending a court date of March 16.

Jason Guy Mitchell, 27, of 431 N. Erie Street, Depere, Wis., was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was stopped on Feb. 12 at 153 N. Lake St. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a court date of March 16.

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Derek A. Kaye, 20, of 28585 Schank Drive, Mundelein, was charged with damage to property. He was stopped on March 13 at 651 Ziegler Drive. He was released on $120 bond pending a court date of March 16.

WARRANT

Matthew J. Laflamme, 30, of 757 Treeview Lane, Round Lake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant out of McHenry County and possession of a controlled substance.  He was stopped on Feb. 9 at 757 Treeview Lane, Round Lake. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
