Recent local arrests for DUIs, warrants and more, taken from the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Farris N. Adams, 28, of 2651 Kennedy Drive, North Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol. He was stopped on April 29 near Route 45 and Washington Street. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court date of May 15.

Glen Johnson, 44, of 6250 Garden View Lane, Matteson, was charged with driving under the influence, having no valid drivers license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. He was stopped on April 27 near Route 120 and Atkinson Road. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a court date of May 22.

WARRANTS

Nicholas A. Hansen, 24, of 401 Center Street, Unit 27, Grayslake, was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license. He also had an in-state warrant for failure to appear for criminal damage to property. He was stopped on April 21 at 815 Center Street. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.

Jonathan M. Nowosel, 34, of 3001 Greenbay Rd., North Chicago, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant.  He was stopped on April 19 near Pierce Court and Lawrence Avenue. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.

Georgeann Marie Escorza, 42, of 1307 Park Street, Grayslake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant. She was stopped on April 27 at 10 South Seymour Avenue. She was released on a $300 bond pending a court date of May 9.

LICENSE VIOLATIONS

Linda J. Zielinski, 38, of 591 Emerson Lane, Hainesville, was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license. She was stopped on April 18 near Main Street and Cranberry Lake Drive in Hainesville. She was released on $1,000 bond pending a court date of May 18.

Concepcion Meja, 27, of 1628 Kildeer, Round Lake Beach, was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license. He was stopped on April 26 near Route 45 and Rollins Road. He was released on a $2,000 bond pending a court date of May 16.

Joseph R. Bowers, 22, of 794 Cherry Creek Drive, Grayslake, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was stopped on April 26 near Atkinson Road and Frederick Road. He was released on a $2,000 bond pending a court date of June 20.

AMMUNITION

Shaun A. Ellis-Schweet, 33, of 1008 Manchester Circle, Grayslake, was charged with possession of ammunition with no valid FOID card. He was stopped on April 18 at 1008 Cambridge Drive. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a court date of May 9.
