Grayslake Police Blotter: Alcohol, Theft

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ALCOHOL

Troy Evenson, 45, of 254 W. Treehouse Lane, Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more. He was stopped on June 25 near Wicks Street and Sommerset Drive. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court date of July 7.

Marissa Martin, 18, of 2808 Pinehurst Avenue, Racine, Wis., was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was stopped on June 25 in the 400 block of Ziegler Drive. She was released on a notice to appear pending a court date of July 25.

Victoria Romero, 31, of 933 S. Lincoln Avenue, Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving on a suspended/revoked drivers license and improper lane usage. She was stopped on June 24 near Routes 45 and 120. She was released on $3,000 bond pending a court date of July 17.

Alivia Talbot, 19, of 19729 E. Hawthorne Blvd., Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, driving on a suspended/revoked drivers license, operating an uninsured vehicle and following too closely. She was stopped on June 23 in the 1200 block of Route 83. She was released on $300 bond pending a court date of July 17.

Kyle C. Steelman, 25, of 1355 W. Maple Avenue, Mundelein, was charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, following too closely, speeding, failure to reduce speed and improper lane usage. He was stopped on June 17 near Route 83 and Library Lane. He was released on $100 bond pending a court date of July 10.

THEFT

Mary Berryman, 52, of 321 E. Pineview Drive, Hainesville, was charged with theft, criminal damage to property under $300 and criminal damage to a vehicle. She was stopped on June 23 in the 300 block of E. Pineview Drive, Hainesville. She was released on a notice to appear pending a court date of July 11.

Julie Brown, 31, of 6902 Hampton Circle, Gurnee, was charged with retail theft under $300 and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis. She was stopped on June 20 in the 800 block of Center Street.  She was released on $1,200 bond pending a court date of July 19.

Amy Hughes, 25, of 33721 N. Lake Shore Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving on suspended/revoked license and retail theft under $300. She was stopped June 20 in the 800 block of Center Street. She was released on $1,500 bond pending a court date of July 19.
