Grayslake Police Blotter: Battery, DUI, Traffic

Recent arrests made from the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Battery

Anthony J. Grabowski, 33, of 155 Parker Dr., Grayslake, was charged Dec. 16 with domestic battery. He was taken to bond court.

DUI

Alysia K. Gordon, 32, of 3020 Falling Waters Lane, Lindenhurst, was charged Dec. 21 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at S. Route 83 and E. Route 120. She was released on a $1,000 I-bond pending a Jan. 22 court date.

Cynthia Garcia, 32, of 1430 Kildeer Dr., Round Lake Beach, was charged Dec. 12 with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident at E. Route 120 and S. Route 83. She was released on a $1,000 I-bond pending a Jan. 8 court date.

Traffic

Jose Onofre-Ramirez, 35, of 943 Carriage Way, Elgin, was charged Dec. 21 with driving without a valid license at S. Route 83 and E. Route 120. He was released on a notice to appear in court Jan. 16.

Jennifer M. Erickson, 32, of 344 Behm Dr., Grayslake, was charged Dec. 18 with driving with a suspended/revoked license and speeding at Haryan Way and W. Washington Street. She was released on a $1,500 I-bond pending a Jan. 16 court date.

Leonard M. Amideo, 26, of 292 Anita Terrace, Antioch, was charged Dec. 12 with driving with a suspended/revoked license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured vehicle at Route 83 and Center Street. He was released on a $1,500 I-bond pending a Jan. 16 court date.

Warrants

David A. Ptak, 32, of 430 S. Slusser St., Grayslake, was taken into police custody Dec. 18 for an in-state warrant. He was also charged with having an animal-at-large. He was taken to Lake County Jail.

Fernando Jimenes, 40, of 333 S. Hickory St., Mundelein, was taken into police custody Dec. 5 for an in-state warrant and driving with a suspended/revoked license at S. Route 83 and W. Peterson Road. He was released on a $100 I-bond pending a Dec. 19 court date.
