Grayslake Police Blotter: Drugs, Solicitation and Battery

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

LICENSE VIOLATIONS

Christopher G. Goss, 42, of 31 Thorncliff Way, Acworth, was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, and driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license.  He was stopped on May 16 near Route 45 and Jones Pointe Road. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a court date of June 20.

Bradley P. Rosentrater, 32, of 509 Rae Avenue, Unit B, Lake Villa, was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license. He was stopped on May 18 near Sheffield Court and Bristol Lane in Grayslake. He was released on  $1,500 bond pending a court date of June 20.

Giovanni Berrios, 32, of 1322 Red Oak, Round Lake Beach, was charged with failure to wear a seat belt and driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license. He was stopped on May 18 near Route 120 and Atkinson Road. He was released on $1,500 cash bond pending a court date of June 20.

Vignesh Mahadevan, 27, of 695 Knickerbocker Drive, Sunnyvale, California, was charged with driving on a suspended or revoked drivers license. He was stopped on May 19 near Route 45 and Casey Road.  He was released on $1,500 bond pending a court date of June 20.

DRUGS

Joseph C. Murray, 20, of 1907 Country Drive, Unit 201, Grayslake, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. He was stopped on May 16 at 1907 Country Drive, Unit 201. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a court date of June 6.

Mitchel R. Ballard, 17, of 26698 Long Meadow Circle, Mundelein, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams or less and having only one red taillight. He was stopped on May 19 near Atkinson Road and Center Street. He was released on  $120 cash bond pending a court date of June 20.

SOLICITATION WITHOUT A PERMIT

Jeffrey A. Kalter, 45, of 856 Sheffield Lane, Grayslake, was charged with solicitation without a permit. He was stopped on May 18 in the 900 block of East Route 120 in Grayslake. He was released on a notice to appear pending a court date of June 20.

James N. Knowles, 44, of 856 Sheffield Lane, Grayslake, was charged with solicitation without a permit. He was stopped on May 18 in the 900 block of East Route 120 in Grayslake. He was released on a notice to appear pending a court date of June 20.

Lisa A. Knowles, 38, of 856 Sheffield Lane, Grayslake, was charged with solicitation without a permit. She was stopped on May 18 in the 900 block of East Route 120 in Grayslake. She was released on a notice to appear pending a court date of June 20.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Shellie L. Chadwick, 41, of 115 Glen Street, Unit 203, Grayslake, was charged with disorderly conduct. She was stopped on May 18 at 125 Glen Street, Unit 203 in Grayslake. She was released on $1,200 bond pending a court date of June 6.

BATTERY

Jeffrey M. Damore, 45, of 430 S. Slusser Street, Grayslake, was charged with simple battery. He was stopped on May 20 at 430 S. Slusser Street. He was released pending a court date of June 20.
