Grayslake Police Blotter: Drugs, Traffic, Warrant

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

Battery

Abigail Cuevas, 21, of 718 8th St., Waukegan, was charged Nov. 3 with battery simple in the 1800 block of E. Route 120. She was released on a notice to appear in court Nov. 19.

Criminal Damage

Kyle Forsythe, 22, of 718 8th St., Waukegan, was charged Nov. 3 with criminal damage to a vehicle in the 1800 block of E. Route 120. He was released on a $1,200 I-bond pending a Dec. 3 court date.

Drugs

Austin D. Fretz, 22, of 13491 W. Victoria Lane, Beach Park, was charged Nov. 3 with unlawful possession of marijuana 30 grams or less and improper lighting for having one headlight at N. Route 45 and Country Drive. He was released on a $120 I-bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Traffic

Hector Nava, 23, of 4838 93rd St., Pleasant Prairie, Wis., was charged Nov. 2 with driving with a suspended/revoked license at S. Slusser Street and Park Avenue. He was released on a $150 I-bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Albert J. Marvitz, 41, of 649 Drom Ct., Antioch, was charged Oct. 27 with driving with registration suspended for no insurance at N. Route 83 and N. Lake Street. He was released on a $3,000 I-bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Jordi Castro, 19, of 331 Clearview Circle, Round Lake, was charged Oct. 27 with driving with a suspended/revoked license at W. Route 120 and W. Main Street. He was released on the scene pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Yolanda De La Rosa, 30, of 326 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, was charged Oct. 27 with driving with a suspended/revoked license and no insurance at E. Route 120 and Ashford Lane. She was released on a $1,200 I-bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Frank N. Arenibar, 33, of 36015 N. Francis Ave., Ingleside, was charged Oct. 24 with driving with a suspended/revoked license at N. Route 83 and E. Rollins Road. He was released on a $1,500 I-bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.

Warrant

Pedro Martinez-Garcia, 37 of 375 S. Route 83, Grayslake, was taken into police custody Nov. 1 for an in-state warrant. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.
