DUI
Gary Hook, 40, of Grayslake, was charged with a felony driving under the influence, DUI alcohol, driving on a revoked license, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give aid or information and failure to yield a left turn. He was stopped on June 6 near North Lake Street and Harvey Avenue. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.

Mitchell P. Malinski, 19, of 252 Deerview Drive, Hainesville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, zero tolerance driving under the influence, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and improper lane usage. He was stopped on June 2 near Route 83 and Peterson Road. He was transported to the Lake County Bond Court.
THEFT

Julien Meyers, 30, of 38790 N. Sheridan Road, Beach Park, was charged with theft over $300. He was stopped on June 8 at 815 Center St. He was transported to Lake County Bond Court.
Samuel J. Gaytan, 19, of 289 Deer Lake Drive, Hainesville, was charged with retail theft. He was stopped on June 2 at 92 W. Route 120. He was released on $1,000 bond pending a June 23 court date.
