Recent arrests for gun violations, warrants and DUI are among the activities recorded by local police.

GUN VIOLATIONS
Shaun A. Ellis-Schweet, 33, of 1008 Manchester Circle, Grayslake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant for possession of a firearm without a firearm owner's identification card as a felon and possession of firearm ammunition without a FOID card as a felon. He was stopped Jan. 24 at 10 S. Seymour Ave. He was taken to bond court.

WARRANT
Adam J. Lichon, 21, of 21 N. Lake Ave., Third Lake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant for failure to appear. He was stopped Jan. 25 at 10 S. Seymour Ave. He was released on a $150 bond pending a court date of Feb. 15.

Glenn R. Stojak, 20, of 25617 W. Blakely Parkway, Wauconda, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant. He was stopped Jan. 19 in the 800 block of Route 120. He was released on $1,000 bond pending his court date.
SEX OFFENDER
Christopher J. Burnett, 31, of 349 Getchell Ave., Grayslake, was taken into custody on an in-state warrant for sex offender violations. He was stopped Jan. 27 at 349 Getchell Ave. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.
DUI/ALCOHOL
Samuel A. Carter, 19, of 18558 W. Old Plank Road, Grayslake, was charged with zero-tolerance DUI, illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, having a loud muffler and not using a turn signal. He was stopped Feb. 7 near Route 45 and Old Plank Road. He was released on $120 bond pending a court date of March 21.
Jesse T. Walkington, 19, of 18623 W. Deerpath Road, Grayslake, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was stopped Feb. 7 near Route 45 and Old Plank Road. He was released on $120 bond pending a court date of March 21.
