Grayslake Woman Found Guilty of Stealing from PTO

A 42-year-old Grayslake woman and former treasurer of the Frederick Elementary School parent teacher organization entered a guilty plea Thursday in Lake County court for stealing from the PTO and was sentenced to 24 months of probation, according to the Daily Herald. 

Elizabeth Bako, of the 300 block of Woodland Drive, was also sentenced to serve 100 hours of community service and ordered to stay away from Frederick School and write a letter of apology to the PTO after pleading guilty to one count of felony theft, according to the article.

The Daily Herald reports Bako stole money from the PTO between April 2011 and May 2012.
