A 51-year-old Waukegan man who has worked as a counselor in Lake Co. was charged this week with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl whom he had previously counseled, according to the Daily Herald.
Kelvin A. Perry, of Waukegan, was charged Tuesday with criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse after police said he had sex with the girl at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, according to an article in the Chicago Tribune.
The Tribune article says police are not identifying the social service agency so as not to identify the victim. The agency has been notified and police are not aware of any other potential victims, the article states.
Perry is accused of having met the girl at the mall and engaging in a sex act in his vehicle, the Daily Herald reports. The girl told her foster mother who told police.
