Lake County Detectives Nab Two for Indecent Solicitation of Child

Two people are in custody for trying to lure a teenage girl to their Gurnee residence to engage in sexual acts.

Another big arrest for the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Late Thursday LCSO Detectives wrapped up a four-day investigation involving the indecent solicitation of a child. 25-year-old Gina M. Cusimano and 21-year-old Kevin C. Pettitt pf Pembrook Court in Gurnee were arrested.

On July 30th, the mother of the intended victim reported to authorities that her 13-year-old daughter had been receiving inappropriate text messages from an adult acquaintance of her daughter, Cusimano as well as Cusimano’s boyfriend, Pettitt.

Detective Covelli, acting as the victim, agreed to meet Cusimano and Pettitt to be picked up and brought to their house to engage in sexual acts.  When Cusimano showed up at the agreed meeting location, she was arrested. Detectives then went to the Pembrook residence and took Pettitt into custody without incident.
