A 77-year-old Lake Villa man is dead after he was found unresponsive at the bottom of a private residential pool Sunday evening in Lake Villa, according to the Daily Herald.
Lake County Coroner officials have identified the man as Bertil Sollenskog, according to the article. He was found in a swimming pool in the 600 block of E. Grand Avenue at 5 p.m., the Daily Herald reports.
The death comes days after an elderly South Barrington woman drowned in a pool at her home on June 22, according to the Daily Herald.
Betty Stas, 86, had heart and lung disease and her death has been ruled an accident, according to the article.
