McHugh's Views: Grayslake Honors Its American Heroes

Take a look back at the community event organized by Boy Scout Troop 91 to pay tribute to victims of 9/11 and to honor the heroes that stepped in to defend our nation.

The Community Heroes Celebration drew a large crowd and reinforced the patriotic spirit in people. Boy Scout Troop 91 organized the event, with wide-ranging support from the faculty and staff of Grayslake North High School, District 127, District 46, Grayslake Fire, Grayslake Police, Grayslake Public Works and more.
