Mundelein Man Killed in Lake Co. Crash

A 49-year-old Mundelein man was killed Saturday afternoon and three others were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Midlothian Road south of Wortham Drive near Mundelein, acceding to the Chicago Tribune. 
 
Brian E. Martin was pronounced dead at an area hospital following the crash that occurred around 4:30 p.m., according to the article. 

The accident happened when a 1997 Toyota lost control while traveling south on Midlothian Road and collided head on with a 2004 BMW X5, according to Suburban Life Publications. 

A 40-year-old man, 30-year-old woman and 8-year-old girl — who were all in the BMW SUV — were transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with non-life-threatning injuries while the driver of the other vehicle, Martin, was transported to the same hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead about 5 p.m., according to the Daily Herald.
