Police Blotter: Aggravated Battery, Warrant Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
Aggravated Battery

Steven D. Johnson, Jr., 20, of 1809 Country Drive Unit 304, Grayslake, was charged with aggravated battery March 22 on the 1800 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He was taken to bond court.

Drugs

William D. Harmon, 18, of 633 Quail Creek Drive, Grayslake, was charged with possession of cannabis, 30 grams or less, April 5 on the 600 block of Stuart Street. He was released on a notice to appear in court May 15.

Traffic

Scott R. Barber, 55, of 1820 NE Jensen Beach Blvd., Jensen Beach, FL, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license April 6 near East Route 120 and Garfield Boulevard. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a May 15 court date.

Blanca F. Higuera, 25, of 595 S. Martin Luther King Dr., Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license April 13 near East Route 120 and Seymour Avenue. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to properly secure a child under age 8 in an appropriate child restraint system. She was released on $2,000 bond pending a May 15 court date.

Solicication—Permit Violation

David A. Mindy, 28, of 508 Catalpa Drive, Round Lake Park, was charged with solicitation—permit violation April 15 on the 800 block of East Route 120. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a May 15 court date.

Michael A. Mindy, 25, of 508 Catalpa Drive, Round Lake Park, was charged with solicitation—permit violation April 15 on the 800 block of East Route 120. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a May 15 court date.

Warrant

Shawn N. Moore, 19, of 534 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Waukegan, was arrested March 26 on an in-state warrant on the 400 block of North Tower Drive. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.

Regino Valenzuela, 43, of 345 Moore Court Unit 2A, Grayslake, was arrested April 4 on an in-state warrant on the 300 block of Moore Court. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.

Patrick A. Nordora, 28, of 9 W. Big Horn Drive, Hainesville, was arrested April 6 on an in-state warrant. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.

Zachary L. Bultema, 25, of 110 Dean St., Wilsonville, was arrested April 10 on an in-state warrant on the 200 block of Galway Street. He was transported to the Lake County Jail.
