Police Blotter: Alcohol, Battery Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Christopher Loeffel, 19, of 943 Dunhill Road, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol July 12 on Prairieview Avenue. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give aid or information. He was released on $3,000 bond pending an Aug. 20 court date.

Dustin Armstrong, 25, of 4244 Blackstone Ave., Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol July 13 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for improper parking on roadway, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and DUI over .08. He was released on $3,000 bond pending an Aug. 6 court date.

Natalia Serafin, 23, of 1976 Marsh Meadow Lane, Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 3 near Routes 83 and 120. She was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on $1,000 bond and her drivers license pending an Aug. 20 court date.

William Rosado, 53, of 2420 Huron Terrace, Waukegan, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 4 near Routes 83 and 120. He was also cited for DUI over .08, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and not having a rear registration plate light. He was released on $1,000 bond and his drivers license pending an Aug. 20 court date.

Rosalinda Valdez, 33, of 313 Bellevue Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 7 near Washington Street and Route 83. She was also cited for failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and drivers license not on person-failure to display. She was released on $3,000 bond pending an Aug. 27 court date.

Jeffrey Ryan, 27, of 458 West Trail Court, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 9 on the 700 block of Alleghany Road. He was also cited for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,000 bond and his drivers license pending a Sept. 3 court date.

Battery

Scott Frantz, 30, of 581 St. John's Road, Woodstock, was charged with battery Aug. 10 on the 1500 block of Jones Point Road. He was also cited for resisting arrest of a peace officer. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 3 court date.
