Police Blotter: Alcohol, Disorderly Conduct and Traffic Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Roman Kuchar, 63, of 7701 Lucy Drive, Wonder Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Dec. 4 near Route 120 and Alleghany Road. He was also cited for aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license, improper lane usage and improper lighting - one headlamp. He was taken to the Lake County Jail. 

Disorderly Conduct

Robert J. Callen, 27, of 14355 Wycombe Court, Green Oaks, was charged with disorderly conduct Dec. 4 on the 100 block of Commerce Drive. He was also cited for reckless driving and electronic communications - texting prohibited while driving. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 26 court date. 

Traffic

Beverly M. Kramer, 62, of 1 Harvey St., Grayslake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 3 on the 400 block of North Lake Street. She was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper use of registration and operating a vehicle with expired registration. She was released on $2,000 bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.

Calvin L. Hughes, 46, of 25280 W. Bonner Road, Wauconda, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 4 near Routes 83 and 120. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Dec. 18 court date.

Juan A. Tellez, 20, of 212 E. Willow Drive, Round Lake Park, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 5 near Fairlawn and Pineview Drives. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and not having a front/rear plate. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.

Gerardo A. Campos, 23, of 859 Sanctuary Drive, Lake Villa, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 10 near Route 137 and Casey Road. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.

Isaac I. Polster, 22, of 667 N. Lake St., Grayslake, was charged with reckless driving Dec. 11 on the 100 block of East Brittany Lane. He was also cited for improper lane usage. He was released on his drivers license pending a Jan. 15 court date.
