Police Blotter: Alcohol, Disorderly Conduct, Theft and Traffic Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Ruben Escobedo, 42, of 122 E. Hawthorn Blvd., Mundelein, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 12 near Route 45 and Center Street. He was also cited for DUI, driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license and improper lane usage. He was taken to bond court. 

Karla J. Giarrante, 27, of 13 W. Washington St., Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 16 near Shorewood Road and Arlington Lane. She was also cited for driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license, possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI - BAC .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, obstructing justice, improper lane usage and failure to signal when required. She was taken to bond court.

Disorderly Conduct

Patrick J. Ryan, 48, of 337 Highland Road, Grayslake, was charged with disorderly conduct - all others Jan. 11 on the 200 block of Center Street. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Feb. 5 court date.

Theft

Kevin J. Blottiaux, 36, of 32907 N. Rolling Hills, Wildwood, was charged with theft over $500 Jan. 13 on the 100 block of South Route 45. He was taken to bond court.

Ricki L. Lucas, 37, of 32907 Rolling Hills, Wildwood, was charged with theft over $500 Jan. 13 on the 100 block of South Route 45. Lucas was taken to bond court.

Traffic

Richard D. Chodorski, 52, of 25245 W. Carson Drive, Lake Villa, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Dec. 31 near Route 45 and Washington Street. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Jan. 15 court date.

Alec J. Thatcher, 26, of 1 Hawthorn Lane, Fox Lake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Jan. 4 near Washington Street and Atkinson Road. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Feb. 19 court date.

Carl M. Reeves, 26, of 3027 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Jan. 12 near Rollins and Hook Roads. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Feb. 19 court date.

Elihu Uribe, 24, of 1909 Western Ave., Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Jan. 15 near Washington Street and Lancer Lane. Uribe was released on $1,500 bond pending a Feb. 19 court date.
