Police Blotter: Alcohol, Drug and Traffic Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Jamila Y. Sahabi, 34, of 226 W. Prairie Lane, Round Lake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Jan. 27 near Carol Lane and North Lake Street. Sahabi was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Sahabi was released on $3,000 bond pending a Feb. 19 court date.

Drugs

James A. Meyer, 32, of 54 Pleasant Oak Court, Fox Lake, was charged with possession of cannabis Feb. 9 near East Route 120 and North Route 45. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and not having valid registration. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a March 20 court date.

Enrique A. Hernandez, 18, of 2702 Kennedy Drive, North Chicago, was charged with possession of cannabis Feb. 10 near West Main Street and Fairlawn Drive. He was also cited for delivery of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs, driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license and resisting a peace officer. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a March 12 court date.

Traffic

Michael J. Delosreyes-Yu, 23, of 5127 Carol Lane, Gurnee, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Jan. 31 near Route 120 and Mill Road. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a Feb. 20 court date.

Wilson R. Rosa-Perez, 27, of 2040 Countryside Lane, Round Lake, was charged with not having a valid drivers license Jan. 31 near North Route 83 and Highland Road. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Feb. 20 court date.

Juan C. Perez, 24, of 223 W. Adams, Bellwood, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Feb. 7 on the 800 block of East Route 120. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a March 20 court date.

Mark Hall, 45, of 316 Stevens Court, Grayslake, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Feb. 11 near East Route 120 and Kerry Way. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released on $2,000 bond pending a March 20 court date.
