Police Blotter: Alcohol, Drug Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Alycen A. Hareas, 46, of 33124 N. Valley View Drive, Wildwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol April 25 near Route 83 and Center Street. She was also cited for DUI over .08, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to signal when required and not having valid registration. She was released on her drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a May 21 court date.

Shawn A. Jimenez, 19, of 6 Beaconsfield, Lincolnshire, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor May 1 on the 1800 block of Country Drive. He was released on a notice to appear in court on June 19.

Maureen A. Sokley, 20, of 929 Stratford Court, Grayslake, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor May 2 on the 100 block of Westerfield Place. She was released on $120 bond pending a June 19 court date.

Battery

Alexandro Lopez, 25, of 193 Fairlawn Drive, Grayslake, was charged with battery April 27 on the 300 block of East Pineview Drive. He was released on $120 bond pending a June 19 court date.

Drugs

Alec M. Rachfal, 21, of 1809 Country Drive No. 304, Grayslake, was charged with possession of a controlled substance May 1 on the 1800 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to bond court.

Michael J. Webber, 19, of 22960 N. Apple Hill Lane, Prairie View, was charged with possession of a controlled substance May 1 on the 1800 block of Country Drive. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to bond court.

Traffic

Talea L. Edwards, 30, of 978 N. Village Drive, Round Lake Beach, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license April 30 near West Route 120 and North Route 45. Edwards was also cited for improper overtaking on the left. Edwards was issued a May 15 court date.
